ABP Majha (Anandabazar Patrika Majha) is a 24-hour free-to-air Marathi news channel broadcast in India based in Mumbai. It was launched on 22 June 2007 and delivers news in the Marathi language. The channel is owned by ABP Group, which also runs two other news channels: ABP News (Hindi) and ABP Ananda (Bengali). Rajiv Khandekar is the editor of the news channel which has headquarters in Mumbai. Star Majha has set up an extensive bureau network in Maharashtra and India. Star Majha competes with other Marathi news channels like Zee 24 Taas, 24 hours newschannel from Zee and IBN Lokmat. Star majha have special programme for catering the needs of farming community. This agriculture programme SAAT BARACHYA BATMYA recently got the prestigious KRUSHI MITRA award from State government for its outstanding contribution in development of farmimg/rural community/environment etc. Star Majha was renamed as ABP Majha on 1st June 2012.
